Friday April 2nd is Raise the Flag for World Autism Day. Given that April 2nd is Good Friday, the staff and students of St. Andrew CEC will participate virtually on Wednesday March 31st. On this day, staff and students will show their support for all those individuals and their families living with autism. Autism is a neurological difference that affects 1 in 66 children in Canada. On Wednesday, students will have an opportunity to learn about autism and Ms. Evangelista and her son Joshua (a former St. Andrew student) will join some of the classes google meets to share their personal experiences with autism. Students are reminded to wear their blue coloured tops to show their support.
